How do I know what exercise program is right for me?

During your initial 15 min. free phone fitness call we can make recommendations based on your goals.

How much is the investment?

We have options for any budget including payment plans.  For more details let’s schedule a call.

What do I bring to exercise?

Bring a yoga mat,  water bottle and a small towel.  Or you can purchase these items in our retail boutique!

What do I wear to exercise?

Wear fully covered appropriate workout attire including: sports bra (women), shirt that covers chest and abdomen, pants or shorts (if wearing shorts, please keep them about knee length or longer or wear spandex underneath) and running sneakers.

We suggest clothing that is fitted and breathable. Dri-wic clothing keeps conditions sanitary by allowing perspiration to evaporate, it also helps you regulate your temperature.

During wet or snowy weather, please bring inside sneakers.

What happens if I miss a session?

To get results you need to show up!  But we understand that life happens.  Therefore, you are allowed up to two excused absences per month.  To qualify for an excused absence we require 24 hours notice.  Due to an inability to fill your spot, more than 2 sessions re-scheduled per month and/ or sessions canceled after 24 hours are forfeited.  For more details login below to view all Active Wellness Policies and Procedures.

We live in New England, what if it snows?

In the case of an impending snow, please periodically check your e-mail for cancellations up to 30 minutes before your session.  If you are still unsure, feel free to give us a call at 800.707.9580.

Where do I park?

You can park on the street or in the municipal parking lot, one block up.

What if I refer a friend or family member?

The highest compliment you can give us is a referral to your family and friends.  When you refer a NEW member, you get a FREE Training Session! (4 Friends = 4  Sessions FREE!)  That was easy! (Valid for up to 4 Friends.  New Members only.)

Additional Policies:  Unless other arrangements are made, sessions and program design explanations (these services herein individual and collectively referred to as “sessions”) last approximately 55 minutes. In order to provide the best service to all Clients, Active Wellness LLC cannot commit to extending any particular session beyond its previously scheduled time.

Rates for services are subject to change.  Services prepaid for by client which are unused at the time of any rate change will be honored at the price already paid.  Time slots are available on a “first come, first serve” basis by appointment.  Sessions must be paid for in advance.

Active Wellness LLC is not responsible for items damaged, lost or stolen.  Please take your belongings with you daily.

Clients have the right to terminate a particular exercise at anytime. If an exercise is uncomfortable or painful, or if you want to stop for any other reason, you may do so. If an exercise is painful for you or you have an injury or other limitation that makes it difficult for you to do, your trainer can attempt to substitute another exercise to work that particular muscle group.

Results will vary by individual.  Client acknowledges that client is responsible for their decision regarding whether or not to exercise consistently, eat properly, rest enough and live a healthy lifestyle.

Clients are required to observe all rules of the facility.  We reserve the right to change or adopt new policies, as we feel necessary for the proper management of the facility.

All sales are final.  All sessions expire 30 days from the conclusion of package.  No transfer of sessions.
